I know a lot of you have your opinions on Backbreaker and if you're considering it I highly reccomend you play the demo, that way you don't chance wasting $50. I've really enjoyed the demo, it includes six teams, training camp, tackle alley, and one half of an exhibition game. When you're in training camp you have to do some passing drills, your first pass is to WR #5 Ryan Dale that's me so make sure you throw a good pass
it's not 100% sim, but this (from what I've played) is no arcade game, there actually aren't that many big tackles, it's realistic, game comes out June 1 so I will have a full review then, hopefully it's good.

Re: Backbreaker Demo (XBL)
Didn't like that it wouldn't let me do 2 player in the Exhibition...
so me and my friend had to do tackle alley, once he left I played a couple games.
Looks wise it's arcade style, gameplay I'de say is 70% arcade and 30% sim.
I like that you can do your own 8, 16 or 32 team league and can customize the teams, create your own, and players and such but if all players are going to be on steroids and have visors plus by the plays you can tell it was created by non-football people, not the game for me...Tackle alley for quick fun with the demo is ok though.

Re: Backbreaker Demo (XBL)
I finally got to play the actual game today. Looks great, the controls are simple and fun to play head to head. While this game does not have all of the features that most of us prefer, it's a great game to kick back with and play with a buddy or two. The game engine is very nice, I love the fact that my RB got knocked down at the line of scrimmage by a DT who gets spun around by an offensive lineman and falls backwards into the RB. I created for my team a futuristic version of the Washington Sentinels.
